The Gate Will Be Opened

Today, Dr. Carol M. Swain, a well-spoken and valuable voice for the conservative American points to a pair of scriptures shining with anticipatory excitement!

Most know the 14th Chapter of Zechariah anticipating the bodily presence of our God at the end of the era. In the 1st five verses his appearance on the Mount of Olives is declared, and the well know appearance of a healing fountain from the rift of that mountain is declared.

“The day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls. I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.

But also consider Ezekiel 44:1-3

Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut.

Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.

It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.

That gate was sealed, not to be opened again until the Prince appears.

She writes:

“Directly across from the Mount of Olives is the sealed Golden Gate. It was sealed by Suleiman the Magnificent in 1540 AD. Suleiman was a Muslim Sultan. If you read the Prophet Ezekiel 44:1-3, it becomes clear why the gates had to be sealed”

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. – Psalm 27:4-9
